“On Self Renewal” is an exploration of life’s endless unfolding—a reflective narrative on embracing curiosity and purpose, urging us to resist stagnation and find meaning in our choices and challenges.

Using John W. Gardner’s speech, “Personal Renewal,” and four Kanye West song—“Reborn,” “Champion,” “Through The Wire,” and “I Wonder”—the book evolves visually and thematically. Through its dynamic use of color, text placement, and image treatment, it mirrors the reader’s own introspective journey toward clarity and self-discovery.

Structured into four distinct chapters, that although possess their own unique visual identity, comes together cohesively to provide a seamless transition. Every chapter is accompanied by a dedicated song, serving as both a thematic anchor and an emotional guide that accompanies the speech.

Final deliverable:  40 page hardcover book bound in a hidden wire-o with a 6.5in x 9.5in page size.
