Swish: The Game of Knockout is an exploration of the recess basketball game, distilled into a visually striking booklet. While knockout thrives on simplicity, this publication captures the raw dynamism and fluid motion that defines both the game and the sport of basketball itself.

Each image is  hand-drawn with marker on paper, then digitally refined in Photoshop and Illustrator. The textured, sketch-like illustrations, paired with playful typography and a vibrant color palette, create an immersive visual rhythm that mirrors the pulse of the court. This booklet doesn’t just explain the rules—it embodies the spirit of the game, celebrating the fleeting moments of movement, competition, and camaraderie that make knockout a timeless playground classic.

Final deliverable:12 page booklet bound in a saddle stitch with a 6in x 9in page size.
